GMOs in large-scale industry - we offer customised analyses for your own GMOs!

GMOs have long been used not only in agriculture, but also in food production processes of all kinds. For example, bacteria in fermentation processes are genetically modified to produce a very specific protein/enzyme during the fermentation process in order to give the food a very specific property. GMOs have become an integral part of today's food production!

The use of GMOs in food production is legally subject to labelling. Under certain conditions, this labelling requirement can be waived, whereby the absence of the GMOs used in the end product must be proven. For companies that would like to advertise their product as GMO-free, this proof is mandatory.
