The iba Trophy 2025: An award for innovations in the bakery trade
The prestigious iba Trophy was awarded for the ninth time by DBZ magazine in collaboration with an experienced jury of experts. This award, which was presented at iba 2025, recognised outstanding innovations and solutions for the bakery trade. The jury consisted of master bakers, scientists and industry experts who jointly selected the best entries.
Participation and evaluation
The competition was aimed at manufacturers who have advanced the bakery trade with their new developments or significant improvements. Entries were judged in the following categories:
- Quality & Productivity
- Energy & Environment
- Digitalisation
- Hygiene
These initiatives should not only make work in the industry easier, but also make a sustainable contribution to further development.
